Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of post here lately. We have had a tragedy in the family...Trent's brother and niece were killed on Tuesday by a drunk driver. The family is taking it very hard. The news came so quick and so unexpectedly that they are basically still in shock from hearing the news. He was only 26 years old and his daughter was 7---they were on their way to the movies when it happened. Trent is doing pretty bad along with the rest of his family. He doesn't want anything to do with anyone right now but he will get through it over time. Thats just what it takes...time and prayers. The funeral is tomorrow, it will be so hard to see Trent (and his family) but I know with the guidance of God we will all pull through...

* I was asked if the drunk driver was killed...the answer is no but he is in critical condition and they still aren't sure so he and his family do need prayers as well.

Wow... what a tragedy? my heart goes out to you and your family. You don't know me, but i just stumbled by chance to your blog. God wanted to add another voice the the choir in prayer for your family. Last year I lost by beautiful 23-year old niece in a car accident, and I know how devastating this is. Your family will never be the same again, but in Christ you should be able to pull through. Faith and faith alone will ease the pain. My prayers are with you. God bless you all and may He make you turn from celebrating their tragic death to celebrating the joy which they had brought during their lifetime. May their souls rest in peace, and may they dwell in the presence of our Lord.

I read about what happened on another blog. I'm soooooo terribly sorry about your loss. Several years back, my husbands parents and little brother were killed in an auto accident and I understand fully what a toll this kind of tragedy takes on a family. What a total shock and nightmare. I also understand what it's like to be someone's rock - like you are right now for your husband. Stay strong and lean on those who care about you and want to help.
